The Girl Scouts Mile High Council has notified its members and their parents that they might be at risk for identity theft because of disks stolen from a car on June 27th.

The disks held the personal information from the membership database, including names, addresses, phone numbers and the schools that members attend.

In addition, a small number of credit-card numbers and social security numbers (SSNs) from the Girl Scout camp and event registration database also were stolen.

At present, there have been no reports of identity theft stemming from the incident.
