California Man Receives 10 Years In ID Theft Case |

The 50 year old owner of the Vista-based First Choice Mortgage, faced 96 years in prison if convicted of all 187 counts against him.
Local authorities mention that Michael Hartsell was just one of almost 100 people involved in the case, which also included a white supremacist prison gang.
Local police state that Hartsell's company was used as a front for stealing personal information used to defraud more than 250 individuals and retailers of more than $500,000.
Hartsell and two others were offered and accepted a plea agreement from the Orange County Superior Court for 10 years in prison.
