The Highlands University in New Mexico sent an email to students warning them that a recent robbery could result in their identities being stolen.
The emails were sent to 420 students, mostly the ones who signed up for classes at the Advanced Placement Institute, the International Baccalaureate Institute, or the Interactive Math Summer Institute. The students were urged to put a monitoring service on their credit reports and check them on a regular basis.
