FBI Finds That 1 Million PCs May Have Been Compromised

According to the FBI, an estimated one million computer users are unknowingly doing the bidding of anonymous hackers

The bureau mentions that its investigation of bogus “botnets” or remotely controlled computers has identified the IP addresses of victims.

Compounding the problem is the fact that victims are often unaware that their computers have been taken over, so they take no action.
