Fight identity theft: Help Gordon Brown shred sensitive data in a new game
UK people are given the chance to stop any more embarrassing data losses by the government – by helping Gordon Brown shred sensitive data. You can control a little cartoon Gordon in a new game launched by imaginative Glasgow games development company T-Enterprise.
It’s been inspired by a series of identity thefts through hard disc and CD losses over the last 18 months. In the game – called Cabinet Clearout – you have to help Gordon shred sensitive data in the cabinet office late into the night. There are ten levels to clear. But hurry, before a bungling civil servant makes a mistake and leaves sensitive documents on a train.

T-Enterprise’s managing director Sadia Chishti said: “We’re big fans of Gordon Brown, but thought he needed a bit of help stopping identity theft and any more data being stolen. “So we’ve given his cartoon version a big shredder and the help of the UK public to stop sensitive data being lost.”
T-Enterprise employs six people and works with businesses across the UK. In the last few months it has captured a clutch of headlines across the globe for its weekly games. One recent game attacked Sarah Palin for her environmental policies. In another, players had to help George Bush in a shoot out with Congress to get his bank bail-out billions.
