California based Symantec recently introduced the 2008 versions of Symantec's Norton Internet Security and Antivirus programs.
These programs are developed for Windows XP and Windows Vista will feature enhanced protection against identity theft and other online security threats.
Both Norton Internet Security and Norton Antivirus offer the zero-day malware protection in a software module referred to as Sonar.
Sonar was developed to protect against malicious code before the code has the chance of being defined. Behavioral detection is a necessary component of security software.
